Bieg 5000 is a 5 km track race in Leszno, Mazowieckie, held at the Sports and Recreation Center on Szkolna Street. Instead of a road loop, the main race is run on a standard 400-meter athletics track, so runners cover twelve and a half laps with precise photo-cell timing under Polish Athletics Association rules.
The 5 km field is split into four ability-based series: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and professional, each with its own entry limit and time limit. Runners must be at least 16 for the main race, while children aged 4 to 15 can enter shorter races for free. Finishers receive commemorative medals, the top three women and men get trophies plus prizes or vouchers, and water is available after the finish.
