The Chicago Triathlon begins with a swim in Lake Michigan, followed by a bike and run course through the city, concluding in Grant Park. This summer event offers six race choices, accommodating various athletic levels rather than focusing on a single distance.
The weekend features two children's races, alongside Supersprint, Sprint, and International distance events. The most demanding option is the Triple Challenge, where participants complete three races over the weekend, totaling 59 miles. Over 8,500 athletes competed previously, with participants traveling from across the United States and internationally.
