Kamień Extreme is a September cross-country race held at Ośrodek w Kamieniu in Rybnik, Poland. It features obstacle-running elements integrated into a short forest course. The main race covers approximately 5 to 5.5 km, primarily on forest paths with brief asphalt stretches. This event is part of the Rybnik Running Grand Prix, serving as its most challenging competition. While not a full OCR race, participants must crawl, jump, balance, carry items, and navigate muddy or wet terrain.
The course incorporates natural obstacles like marshland, sand, mud, and a pond. It also includes constructed stations such as tires, walls, platforms, scaffolding, kayaks, a spider web, and a stretcher carry. Competitors typically have two chances at each obstacle, may assist one another, and are prohibited from using sticky substances for grip. The participant limit is 400, with a minimum age of 13. Recent events have seen participation slightly exceeding 300 runners. Prior to the main race, Kamień Extreme Kids offers an 1100-meter course for children and youths, featuring 11 obstacles including tires, crawling sections, a net house, a balance beam, and a stretcher.
