Recurring 10K races near Perth

Races that repeat — weekly, monthly or yearly

Perth Marathon
SUN OCT 11
On the Western Australian coast, the Perth Marathon is a road-running event with a big-city feel and a seaside edge. It is a "World Marathon Majors Qualifier," but the atmosphere is broader than just serious marathon chasing: the event offers "a distance for every taste," with options stretching from the main race down to Kids & Juniors courses. Expect looped road courses through an urban setting. The longer races have enough elevation gain to challenge runners, while the shorter loops are more approachable, all finishing within the same city-and-sea race atmosphere. It is the kind of event where fast runners, first-timers, families, and juniors all share the same start-line energy.
Revo Fitness Fremantle Running Festival
SUN NOV 8
The Revo Fitness Fremantle Running Festival begins at Esplanade Reserve in Fremantle, providing runners a location adjacent to the port city’s parks, historic streets, and waterfront. The West Australian Marathon Club organizes the event, which features a solo half marathon, a half marathon relay, 10 km, 5 km, and a 300 m children’s race. Races start early to complete most running before the heat increases. The courses are primarily on road, utilizing Fremantle’s coast, open paths, maritime surroundings, and Indian Ocean vistas as the primary setting. The relay divides the half marathon into three legs: 10.1 km, 5.5 km, and 5.5 km, for teams of two or three. Participants include club runners, casual runners, families, and children. Operation Sunshine is the designated charity partner, and Revo Fitness is the principal sponsor.

About 10K races in Perth

Perth Training Notes

Perth hosts 7 10K races in 2026 within 80 km of the city centre — upcoming dates, recurring series, and other races nearby, all in one place.

Locals run the Swan River when they want rhythm, with the bridges run giving a clean 10km loop and Elizabeth Quay to Optus Stadium stretching around 12-16km. Kings Park gives you Jacobs Ladder, the Kokoda trail, and the stairs when Z2 turns into intervals. The park loop covers 5km in total. Scarborough to Hillarys gives about 20km of coastal path and barely any road shoulder. Dose Running, Perth Run Collective, Perth Urban Runners, and WA Marathon Club keep the week social. City2Surf, Perth Marathon, Ultra Perth, and Marathon de Perth sit as anchor events.

Locals ride river loops, coastal returns, and long PSP days because Perth gives you room to stack base miles. The south perth foreshore bridges path takes in Narrows Bridge, Windon Bridge, Maylands, and Garratt Rd Bridge. The Tonkin Hwy PSP from Bayswater to Muchea is long and uninterrupted, and the ride makes about a 90km round trip. Mount Henry bridge opens the line south toward Mandurah. Kalamunda, Mundaring, Wungong, and Mount Dale hold the climbing, gravel, singletrack, firetrails, and nice downhills. Over 55's Cycle Club rides Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. West Coast Masters Cycling Council brings crit and road racing for over 30s, and Canola Classic gives the calendar a proper anchor.

Summer owns the calendar from December to March, with hot, sunny, dry days and February usually landing as the hottest month. The Fremantle Doctor rolls in from the south-west on most summer afternoons and makes late rides and evening runs feel workable. Locals carry plenty of water once the route pushes past Ellenbrook or out into longer open stretches. January and March are strong cycling months, so bunch rides and gran fondo prep feel busy. Winter shifts the mood from May to September, with mild wet fronts broken by clear days. Runners lean on river loops, Kings Park stairs, and indoor MSWA Step Up Tower Climb efforts, while riders watch the hills and gravel after rain.
