Half Marathon races near Vechta

The Oldenburg Marathon is a road race held in Lower Saxony each October, with events in and around Oldenburg and Edewecht. The half marathon covers approximately 21.1 km on an unmeasured course, largely utilizing unpaved field, forest, and meadow paths. About 4 km are on paved service roads, with the final nearly 2 km returning along the track to the stadium finish. The 5.5 km route follows forest paths, with only about 100 m of asphalt before reaching Waldstadion Syke. Showers and changing rooms are provided at the venue.
