Chernisky Ghost Town Trail-a-thon

The race provides youth pricing, group discounts, shirts, and medals. Packet pickup is available before race day or on race morning. The event prioritizes offering a public, shared avenue for marking grief, recovery, support, and hope over competitive racing.

Steps with St. Dymphna 5k Run/Walk

The Narrow Way begins at Canal Place in Cumberland, Maryland, directing runners onto the Great Allegheny Passage Trail west of town. Held annually since 2019, it provides 10K, 5K, and 1K fun run/walk choices, suitable for racers, walkers, families, and younger participants. The course crosses The Narrows, a valley with steep sides that lends the race part of its name. The "Narrow Way" also connects to a faith-based concept: Allegany County FCA links it with the path to eternal life. The race generates scholarship funds for students attending local and regional FCA camps. Local high school cross country runners are also given a racing chance, and participants can form or join teams.

Knights on the Run 5K

Knights on the Run is a road race in North Andover, Massachusetts, organized by NAAA. It features a traditional 5K and a kids run. Check-in and race-day registration begin at 8:30 a.m. at North Andover High School. Walk-in registration is available after online signup closes the previous evening. The kids event, Knights in Training, is for children under 12 and starts at 9:00 a.m. Its grade-group courses for Pre-K through second grade and third through fifth grade are each about a quarter mile. The Derry branch runs in Keystone State Park. The local race typically uses Legion-Keener Park in Latrobe when available. It usually draws about 100 participants. Nearby Cupid’s Chase races also occur in Butler and Pittsburgh, part of events across 12 U.S. states. The full marathon is a certified Boston Marathon Qualifier, running two loops of the half marathon course. First-time half or full marathon finishers receive a special plaque and finisher's medal. SWAG includes a T-shirt, finisher's medal, and ankle running socks. Service members and their families receive a 10% discount. A non-binary registration option includes its own awards.
