Hölle von Q 2026

Hölle von Q is a middle-distance triathlon in Germany’s Harz region and the Harz foreland, with Quedlinburg, Thale, and Ditfurt named as its home area. It is held on the first Sunday of September, late enough in the triathlon season that tired legs and autumn plans can matter as much as fitness. The name is not just for show: the race is described by its own organizers as hard, and they expect some athletes to drop out before race day because of the difficulty and timing. Entries can sell out very early, with a waiting list used for later spots, while free places are kept for international athletes and potential race favorites in the individual men’s and women’s fields.
