Canicross La Croquette
日 10月 4
At Canicross La Croquette, runners can participate with their own dog, a neighbor's dog, or a shelter dog. This solidarity canicross event takes place in Saint-Eloi, in France's Nievre region, during early October. It is organized by La French Run in conjunction with the commune of Saint-Eloi. The day's events include canicross, canichiot races, dogless races, and children's races, making it accessible to both those racing with dogs and those who prefer to run or walk. The event is held at the Arche de la biodiversite, providing an outdoor setting, though course details are limited. La Croquette utilizes sport to raise awareness about animal abandonment, with entry fees benefiting the Refuge de Beauregard, an animal-welfare shelter operating since 1982. Now in its fourth edition, the event accommodates a diverse range of participants, including club runners, casual walkers, children, dog owners, those borrowing a dog, and shelter dogs.
Les 10 km du Poinçonnet - Le Poinçonnet
日 10月 4
Les 10 km du Poinçonnet is a local road race in Le Poinçonnet, organized by the Berrichonne Athlétic-Club. The main event is a 10 km run, with a shorter 5 km race offered on the same morning. The 5 km starts first, at 9:30 AM, and the 10 km follows at 10:15 AM from the route de Varennes. The details indicate a straightforward race setup: two distances, morning starts, and local registration handled through the stadium.
La Pouilly-Sancerre
金 10月 16
La Pouilly-Sancerre covers 20 km by road from Pouilly-sur-Loire to Sancerre, situated between two Loire wine regions. Held in autumn, the main race is framed as an epicurean outing, complemented by a 20 km walk on the identical point-to-point course for those preferring the distance without competition. The route crosses vineyard landscapes and follows the Loire riverbanks, making the setting integral to its appeal. The broader event program commences and concludes in Pouilly-sur-Loire for shorter distances: a 5 km night race, a 7 km gourmet hike, and a children's race. Registered runners, active walkers, families, and those interested in wine are all welcome. The additional activities highlight local culture, featuring an animation village, tastings guided by Pouilly winemakers, and a participant visit to La Tour du Pouilly Fume. This race is part of the French Run series.
Foulées de Bourges
日 10月 18
The Foulées de Bourges is an October road race held in Bourges, located in France’s Cher department, and it stands as the largest race within that department. Established in 1994, the event offers runners multiple distances: 5 km, 10 km, a 3.5 km night run, a half marathon, and children’s races. The 10 km route attracts the most participants, and the 5 km and half marathon also draw hundreds of runners, making the day suitable for novices, local club members, families, and individuals seeking a longer city race. All primary routes are circuits beginning and ending at Stade Alfred Depège, close to Place Séraucourt. The course proceeds past the Parc des Expositions, runs near the Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle, crosses the Auron river multiple times, and then nears Église Saint-Barbe before reaching the Cathedral vicinity. Participants will also pass Bourges landmarks including Cathédrale Saint-Étienne, the Palais Jacques-Cœur, and the Jardin de l’Archevêque, incorporating much of the old city into the route without overcomplicating the race format.
Foulées roses du Berry
月 10月 19
Foulées roses du Berry is a charity running and walking event in Bourges, in France's Berry region. The listed distance is a 5 km walk, intended for those seeking a manageable active outing rather than a long race. The event appeals to casual runners and committed walkers, with its pink theme indicating a cause-driven day rather than a standard road-race format. The course details are sparse, but the setting provides the event a clear local identity: Bourges is a medieval city with the Saint-Étienne Cathedral, the Marais de Bourges, and the Palais Jacques-Cœur nearby, making the outing more than just a bib-and-finish-line trip. Practical information is organized around participant needs, including registration, bib collection, course details, results, and background on the event’s history.
Semi-Marathon de la Pomme
日 10月 25
The Semi-Marathon de la Pomme is a road race held in late October in Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, a small town in Indre, France’s Centre-Val de Loire region. While its name suggests only a half marathon, participants can select from 5 km, 10.5 km, or the full 21.0975 km distance. This variety accommodates beginners, those looking to improve, and individuals targeting the longest race. The race is described as a local road event with a welcoming atmosphere that encourages personal achievement. The surrounding area offers additional activities for a weekend trip. Loire Valley châteaux are within an hour’s drive, the Brenne nature reserve is accessible for observing wildlife and flora, and Châteauroux is a convenient location for a post-race excursion.

Le semi de la pomme souvenir Olivier Moulin
火 10月 27
Le Semi de la Pomme Souvenir Olivier Moulin is a late-October road race in Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, located in the Indre department of France’s Centre-Val de Loire region. Organized by FRJEP, the event offers runners three distance options: 5 km, 10.5 km, or the half marathon of 21.1 km. This setup caters to both dedicated club runners and amateurs seeking a shorter road run or a full half marathon. Each distance features a single-loop course, avoiding repeated circuits. The route crosses town streets. Age-category results and downloadable rankings are available for participants to review times. The race name honors Olivier Moulin, and historical results indicate a diverse field, with half-marathon finishers ranging from approximately two hours to three hours.

La corrida sancerroise de Noël - Sancerre
日 12月 6
La Corrida sancerroise de Noël is a December running event through the streets and narrow alleys of Sancerre’s old town. It is part of the town’s Téléthon programme, aligning it more with a local charity race day than a large-scale road race. The main options are a 7 km run, available solo or as a duo, and a 3.5 km beginner race, with children’s races over 2.1 km, 950 m, and 200 m. The old-town setting means the short distances still present a challenge: the 7 km and 3.5 km races list 125 m of climbing, while the 2.1 km children’s race has 50 m of gain. The children’s races start first in the afternoon, followed by the adult 7 km and 3.5 km events. Entry fees are modest, from a few euros for children to a little more for the solo and duo races, fitting the community Téléthon spirit.
La corrida des dormeux - Mehun-sur-Yèvre
日 12月 13
Le petit trail de Noël - Châteauroux
日 12月 20
Le Petit Trail de Noël is a flat holiday trail event in Châteauroux, in the Indre department of France’s Centre-Val de Loire region. It is built around a simple idea: encourage pre-holiday activity, with short races for children and a 7.5 km option for adults or older runners. The event offers solo and duo formats, allowing runners to cover the main distance alone or share it with a partner. The race list is family-friendly: the youngest children have a free 700 m “trail des lutins,” while the “petits lutins” and “grands lutins” races add free 1.5 km and 1.8 km options. The course has no elevation gain, making the event focus on participation, pacing, and the festive atmosphere rather than climbing. Runners are still expected to follow the event rules and bring the required equipment.
