Ochsenweiherlauf Emskirchen
土 10月 3
The Ochsenweiherlauf is a local running event in Emskirchen, Bavaria. It offers distances from a 0.5 km Bambinilauf for young children up to a 10 km Hauptlauf. TSV 1893 Emskirchen e.V. organizes the event, which is listed on the regional calendar for Neustadt/Aisch, Mittelfranken, Nordbayern. Held in October, it is a road race, emphasizing local competition over track events. The event caters to various participants: children have the Bambini race, older students and youth compete in a 2.5 km run, casual runners and walkers can select 5 km or 7.5 km, and the main race is 10 km. Approximately 120 starters are expected for a typical edition. TSV Emskirchen is joined by clubs from nearby Bavarian towns including Herzogenaurach, Burghaslach, Ipsheim, Langenzenn, Markt Erlbach, and Scheinfeld. The organizer provides starter lists before the race and publishes results, certificates, and photos afterward, contributing to the event's distinct local club-race atmosphere.
41. Pegnitztallauf 2026
土 10月 10
The Pegnitztallauf is an afternoon race day in Vorra, Germany, with all finishes at the Tennisanlage in 91247 Vorra. The main program offers runners a 5K for adults and youth, a 10K for adults, and a 5K Nordic walk for adults, with the races commencing at 3:00 PM. The course is flat and uses a single-loop layout, so participants do not have to repeat laps. Children’s and youth races are also part of the day, making it more of a local club-style event than a narrow adult road race.
Citylauf Schwabach 2026
日 10月 11
RIBE Citylauf Schwabach
日 10月 11
The RIBE Citylauf Schwabach begins at Schwabach’s market square in Bavaria, southwest of Nuremberg, sending runners along the “Golden Miles” surrounding the gold-leaf city. This autumn road-running event features short children’s races, a 5.3 km hobby run, Nordic walking, a 10.2 km race, a half marathon, a three-person half-marathon relay, and a 21 km Goldschläger Marsch for walkers and hikers. TV 1848 Schwabach e.V. organizes the event, with a program designed for families and runners seeking a challenging effort. The longer route departs the old town for Schwabach’s outskirts, with sections toward the old linden tree, Wildenbergen, Leitelshof, Weiler, the model airfield near Rohr, Kottensdorf, and Gustenfelden before returning to the market square finish. The course is not merely a flat city loop; it challenges the legs while crossing autumn countryside outside a town historically linked to gold leaf production. Schwabach’s medieval city wall and old-town setting provide the race with a local character, while the participant list unites Bambini runners, school-age children, hobby runners, competitive club runners, walkers, hikers, and relay teams over the same event weekend.
Ossis 8er-Lauf
日 10月 18
Ossis 8er-Lauf is a cross-country running event in Schweinfurt, Bavaria, held in memory of Ossi Baunach, a former department head and trainer. It begins at 11:00 a.m. and offers runners multiple route options. The longest route is approximately 10.8 km, intended for active runners and seniors. Shorter races are available for youth and children, with the youngest participants running distances from about 400 m to 1.1 km. The programme also features walking and Nordic walking over 5.4 km, catering to club runners, families, walkers, and older participants, not exclusively fast racers. DJK Schweinfurt and TG Schweinfurt organize the event. Registration is typically available online and in person. The participant field is modest, usually ranging between 101 and 300. The event has been held for at least 14 editions, and organizers publish results, start lists, and photos post-race.
5. Wiesent-Challenge 10 km Straßenlauf und 12 km Panoramatrail mit Oberfränkischen Meisterschaften im Trail-Lauf
日 10月 25
The Wiesent-Challenge is a running event in Waischenfeld, Bavaria. Its main road option is a 10 km race, and a panorama trail hosts the Upper Franconian Trail Running Championship. It takes place in autumn and has been organized since 2021, with road races and panorama trails added to the program since 2025. The race day includes children’s races, a 2 x 5 km relay, and a 400 m opening run for participants with and without disabilities. The route atmosphere is supported by twelve active clubs and more than 1,000 spectators across three zones. The Sport- und Bürgerhalle Waischenfeld hosts the award ceremony, a party, sports fair, music, and catering.
39. Frankenwaldlauf um den Preis der Kulmbacher Brauerei
土 10月 31
The Frankenwaldlauf um den Preis der Kulmbacher Brauerei is an October race in Ludwigschorgast, Germany, with all events beginning at 2:00 PM. The main Frankenwaldlauf is an 11-kilometer run, the Kulmbacher Steinie-Funlauf provides a 5-kilometer option, and the Sparkassen Nordic-Walking event spans 8.4 kilometers with timing but no official ranking. The courses are in the Franconian Forest area and are intended for regular runners, club teams, casual entrants, and Nordic walkers. Team scoring is applied only to the 11-kilometer race, using the combined times of each club’s three fastest men or women. The top three teams receive prizes from Kulmbacher Brewery. The fastest men’s team also competes for a wooden-barrel traveling trophy, which a team keeps permanently after three consecutive wins. Finishers receive a small Kulmbacher gift upon returning their race number at the finish area. Strict rules apply: numbers must be visible on the front, and Nordic walkers are disqualified if they cover the route at a running pace.
Fackellauf Gerbrunn
土 11月 14
Fackellauf Gerbrunn is an evening running event in Gerbrunn, Germany, organized by TSV Gerbrunn’s athletics department. The name translates to torch run, with participants running through the town illuminated by numerous torches. The main program includes 10 km and 5 km races, starting at 19:00; junior races commence earlier in the afternoon, and a hobby run offers a shorter, more relaxed option for less competitive runners. The start is located at Stefan-Krämer-Str. 22, with timing managed by race result. The event is designed for more than just those competing for top positions: spectators are also welcome, with Glühwein and bratwurst enhancing the November evening atmosphere. It is a small-town club race, not a large-scale spectacle, but the torch-lit course provides a distinct character.
Nürnberger Winterlaufserie

The Nürnberger Winterlaufserie is a winter street-running series in Nuremberg, Germany, based at Dutzendteich. Mountainman Nikolaus-Trail Pommelsbrunn
土 12月 5
The Mountainman Nikolaus-Trail Pommelsbrunn is a trail running and hiking event held on Saint Nicholas Sunday, based at the football club in Pommelsbrunn, within the Hersbrucker Schweiz area of Nürnberger Land. It combines elements of a winter trail day with a family outing. Runners can select challenging routes, including the 44 km XL Nussknacker-Trail, which features approximately 1,582 metres of elevation gain and qualifies for the UTMB Index. Hikers and families have access to shorter route options. The 32 km L route, named the Krampus-Trail, reinforces the event's Saint Nicholas theme. The routes traverse the Franconian hill country, incorporating local landmarks such as the 1000hmr.de path, the Hohlen Fels viewpoint overlooking the Happurger Stausee, and the Höhenglücksteig climbing and cave area in Hirschbachtal. The XL category is substantial, with over 250 finishers in a recent edition, suggesting a significant competitive field. However, the event's scope extends beyond competitive trail running. The Family Wichtel-Trail, a 5 km hike with around 130 metres of climbing, includes participants like Saint Nicholas, elves, alpacas, children, adults without children, and even dogs available for booking, offering a playful contrast to the longer mountain trails.
