春と秋が一番トレーニングしやすい時期だね。3月から5月と9月から11月は、ランナーもサイクリストも安定したZ2、インターバル、ロングライド・ランに最適だよ。セントジョージは900 m以下だから、夏が来るのが本当に早いんだ。4月下旬から10月上旬にかけて平均最高気温は32°Cを超えるし、7月は37°Cくらいになるよ。地元の人たちは、ロングラン、グラベルライド、Snow Canyonの繰り返し練は早朝にやるし、夏のTurkey Farmのグラベルは午前10時以降は避けた方がいいよ。冬は穏やかだけど、12月の平均最低気温は1°Cくらいで、夜間の凍結があるから、スタート時間とかウェアの重ね着、日陰のコーナーとかは気をつけないとね。
