Distances

Start location
Melville, WA
About this race
Woodstock Hall serves as the start for the Innes Motors Melville Caves Classic, a handicapped road race. The senior field will head towards a finish at Melville Cave. It has the structure of a club race: check-in, a set start time, online entries only, and the requirement for all participants to hold the correct AusCycling race membership.
The course is simple to describe but challenging in execution: start at Woodstock Hall, proceed to Melville Cave, and finish at the summit. The rule, “No descending Melville Caves until last rider has finished,” highlights that this is a climb-and-regroup event. Presentations will also take place at the top, alongside a BBQ, encouraging riders and supporters to stay rather than immediately returning to their vehicles.
