38. Kamener Sparkassentriathlon 2026

The Kamener Sparkassentriathlon takes place in Kamen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, starting at the Freibad Kamen outdoor pool. TV Germania 1876 Kaiserau is the organizer for this event, now in its 38th year, which provides multiple race distances rather than a single format. Competitors can select from a Supersprint (200m swim, 7.5km bike, 2.5km run), a Sprint (500m swim, 24km bike, 5km run), or a short-distance option (1km swim, 42km bike, 10km run). The event includes races for children: Schüler B (ages 10-11) and Schüler C (ages 8-9) will each swim 100m, bike 4km, and run 400m. Approximately 100 participants are anticipated for each adult race, with about 30 for each children's category, structuring the day around local competition for various age groups. A new inclusion classification has been added, featuring individual starts for triathletes with intellectual disabilities and opportunities for inclusive relay teams.
