Sandy Point Half Marathon
The Sandy Point Half Marathon starts and finishes at Green Point in Brighton, on Melbourne’s bayside. Participants can select from a 21.1 km half marathon, a 10 km race, or a 5 km race, accommodating both those aiming for a full half marathon and those preferring a shorter run along the bay. The half marathon course is AIMS-certified, flat, and designed for fast times, with organisers encouraging participants to target personal bests. The route follows an open road along the bayside, offering sea air and views of the Melbourne city skyline. Finishers receive a medal. The event supports charities: runners may nominate Melanoma Institute Australia for melanoma research, or join Team Wish to fundraise for Make-A-Wish Australia.
