Regensburger Triathlon 2026

The Regensburger Triathlon takes place in early August in Regensburg, Bavaria, and is organized by Tristar-Regensburg. It features two primary race distances: Sprint, comprising a 500 m swim, a 22 km bike ride, and a 5 km run; and Standard, with a 1.5 km swim, a 44 km bike ride, and a 10 km run. Individual athletes in all age groups can compete in both distances, and relay options are available for teams. The swim portion takes place in local lakes and ponds, the bike leg crosses natural landscapes surrounding Regensburg, and the run stays within Bavarian outdoor settings instead of a city-center route. Each distance is planned for approximately 450 individual participants, with an additional 50 teams per distance for the relay events.
