Milla Urbana de Banyoles
土 10月 3
The Milla Urbana de Banyoles is a one-mile road race held on Passeig Antoni Gaudí, adjacent to the Club Natació Banyoles facilities. It takes place on an autumn afternoon, focusing on the classic terrestrial mile distance of 1,609 meters. Separate races are organized for children, adapted athletes, under-16 runners, and the main men's and women's fields. The athletics section of Club Natació Banyoles organizes the event, which now attracts approximately 150 athletes across all categories. The mile course follows a closed urban circuit comprising two large laps and one shorter lap, allowing runners to remain close to spectators throughout most of the race. The program also features a 5 km popular race, introduced after the event evolved beyond its initial structure. The race originated as an internal Club Natació Banyoles athletics activity to signal the start of a new season, subsequently growing into a local race day for club runners, younger age groups, and visiting athletes from clubs including GEiEG and Cornellà Atlètic.
Trail des trabucayres - Maureillas-las-Illas
日 10月 11
Trail des Trabucayres is a Sunday-in-October trail event held in Maureillas-las-Illas. It features a 15 km race, a 5 km race, and an 11 km hike. Now in its third edition, the event has expanded its program beyond adult races. Following requests from families, the organizers introduced two children’s races: one for ages 6 to 10 and another for ages 11 to 13. The children’s races take place through the village streets, while the adult program offers the short trail, longer trail, and hiking options. Visually impaired participants also compete, accompanied by a guide on a special circuit. The association Courir en vallées sauvages, led by Gérald Frère, organizes the race. Entries have been increasing, with the previous edition attracting 485 participants. Organizers anticipate 550 adults and approximately 30 children in each youth race for the upcoming event.
Up Xic Trail
土 11月 14
Up Xic Trail is a November trail-running weekend held in Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà and Les Masies de Voltregà, near Barcelona, Catalonia. The event offers runners multiple options on hilly terrain: an 11 km trail with 500 metres of elevation gain, a 25 km trail with 1,300 metres of elevation gain, and a short uphill cronoescalada covering 4.5 km with 500 metres of gain. The event also provides combined formats for participants seeking two races over the weekend. The shorter combination links the 4.5 km climb with the 11 km trail, and the longer one pairs the same climb with the 25 km route. The 4.5 km option is also available as a non-competitive trail, indicating the weekend caters not only to long-distance runners but also to those desiring a steep, concentrated mountain effort without undertaking the full 25 km course.
5K10K Vic
日 11月 15
5K10K Vic is a new urban road race in Vic, Catalonia, offering 5 km and 10 km distances, scheduled for November. The race begins in the morning from Carrer Josep Maria Pallàs and is open to participants aged 16 and older. Vic City Council, ETB Esport, and Club Natació Vic are organizing the event, following strong participation in the city's popular night race, Els 7 Portals - Vic. The route explores the southern part of Vic, avoiding a return through the city centre or sports complex roads. It passes through neighborhoods such as Santa Anna, Remei, Sant Pere, La Calla, L'Estadi, Horta Vermella, and Caputxins. The course was selected for its predominantly flat and fast terrain, making it appropriate for athletes aiming for a personal best and for local runners seeking a simple city race with a communal sporting spirit.
Cims de Girona - Rocacorba
木 11月 26
Cims de Girona - Rocacorba is a night trail running series near Girona focused on three uphill-only efforts. Participants ascend Sant Miquel, Els Àngels, and Rocacorba. The clock records only the ascent time, making the competition resemble a series of mountain time trials rather than a standard trail race. The series is in its thirteenth year and maintains the original race order, allowing the league to conclude with a more relaxed final gathering. Each finish line provides essential aid like water, nuts, and sweets. The final timed climb leads to the Santuari dels Àngels, where runners receive concluding refreshments, awards, and a participant prize raffle.
Marató per a La Marató de TV3
日 12月 13
Marató per a La Marató de TV3 is a charity half marathon held in Girona. The course is a small urban loop near Carrer de Santa Clara and the Pont de Pedra. It begins at 10 AM on a Sunday in December, with the half marathon typically concluding shortly after midday. All proceeds benefit La Marató de TV3, the Catalan fundraising telethon. The race consists of 19 laps of a 1.140 km circuit, totaling 21 km. Participants include runners and Girona firefighters, though the event welcomes individuals who wish to donate and run or walk any number of laps. Bibs are available for collection on race day, and donations can also be made at that time. The event is coordinated by Club Atletisme Girona and Bombers de Girona, with assistance from Girona City Council.
La Folguerolenca
金 12月 25
La Folguerolenca Cursa de Sant Esteve is a 5 km run held in Folgueroles, a village within Barcelona province. This event is linked to Sant Esteve, the Catalan holiday observed after Christmas. The listing categorizes it as a short running event, not a long-distance race. The participant limit is set at 400 runners, and the entry list indicates all 400 spots have been taken. The race is designated as non-competitive, presenting it more as a local holiday run than an event focused on podium finishes. Public event pages provide registration, results, and live coverage via 9hSports, the same platform managing the race listing. The key details are straightforward: a single 5 km category, one host town, a complete turnout for the small field, and a Sant Esteve timing that defines the run's character.
Cursa de la Dona
金 12月 25
The Cursa de la Dona is an urban race for women in Vilanova i la Geltrú, starting and finishing in Plaça de la Vila. It focuses on popular and family sport, welcoming everyday runners and local families alongside competitive athletes. The race is part of the Olimpicament Run Club project, which encourages women’s involvement in running, physical conditioning, and sport within the city. Beginners can participate with more experienced runners, and the event promotes active lifestyles, well-being, and equality.
Cursa dels Nassos
木 12月 31
Cursa dels Nassos is Barcelona’s New Year’s Eve 10K race. Its name originates from the Catalan phrase “home dels nassos,” referring to a New Year’s Eve figure with noses matching the remaining days of the year. The event is substantial locally, with over 13,500 participants. The course offers a competitive platform for fast runners, not just a casual run. Marta Galimany established a Catalan 10K record on this course, and Ndikumwenayo also set records while competing in Barcelona. It remains a large-scale event, with thousands of participants running alongside elite athletes to conclude the year.
Ronde de Reynès
日 3月 7
La Ronde de Reynès is a village running event held in Reynès, located in the Pyrénées-Orientales department of Occitanie, close to the French-Spanish border. Taking place in early March, it features two races and a walking option: La Cinglantane (5.5 km), La Randonnée de la Ronde (9.1 km), and La Ronde (approximately 14.4 km). The event maintains a small, local atmosphere with around 300 runners and 150 walkers, assisted by 60 volunteers and managed by a six-person committee. The primary course begins in the village, ascends towards Le Collet (about 320 m), descends to Pont-de-Reynès (around 165 m), and crosses both roads and trails. Participants will go by the wooded track at Mas Vilacèque, the Can Borrell trail, the Moulin loop, and the ancient oak at Mas Santol, before ascending again near Cal Cascat, the highest point at approximately 330 m. The finish line is situated in front of the Mairie, with aid stations and changing facilities provided. The organizing body, Ronde de Reynès en Vallespir, expresses its local pride with the statement: “This Ronde is the Queen!”
Ronde de Reynès-en-Vallespir
月 3月 8
Ronde de Reynès-en-Vallespir is a running and walking event in Reynès, Vallespir, southern France. It provides two race distances, 14.2 km and 5.5 km, suitable for runners seeking a longer hill run or a shorter outing. The event also features a hiking option, attracting more walkers than many local races. The route crosses the hills surrounding Reynès, with spring details that help visualize the course: cherry trees beginning to bloom, views toward Canigó, mimosa scent in the air, and violets along the banks. Participants come from across France, Belgium, and both northern and southern Catalonia, including individuals from the Manresa area.
