Augsburger Kuhsee Triathlon 2026

The Augsburger Kuhsee Triathlon is a swim-bike-run event at Kuhsee, Augsburg’s most popular bathing lake. It is held annually, offering the city’s strong triathlon scene a race designed for regular participants, not just specialists. Adults and young athletes can compete, aligning with a local sport culture supported by TG Viktoria and Triathlon Augsburg. The race is significant because triathlon is already deeply rooted around Augsburg as a mass-participation endurance sport. Katja Mayer, an Augsburg sports scientist and former international triathlete, directs the event through her sports agency and has guided it for over twenty years.
