37. Leipziger 100 km Lauf am Auensee

The Leipziger 100 km Lauf am Auensee is an August ultramarathon held in Leipzig, featuring a 100 km race where participants complete a 10 km circuit ten times. This event has been held annually since 1990, organized by Laufclub Auensee e. V. Leipzig. A 50 km road race is also part of the program, meaning the event focuses on two long-distance races instead of a single marathon field. The start and finish lines are located at the August-Bebel-Kampfbahn stadium in Wahren, close to Auensee and the Leipziger Auenwald. The course winds through the Auenwald, consisting of approximately 70 percent paved forest and park paths and 30 percent asphalt. It is measured using a Jones Counter according to IAAF guidelines, qualifying as an official road race and eligible for record lists. Each lap involves only 15 meters of elevation gain and offers ample shade, contributing to a controlled pace for the long distance. The Auenseemarathon was held in the same location prior to the inception of the 100 km race, and Leipzig has previously hosted German championship races for both 100 km and 50 km distances on this course.

Gravelday Spring

Gravelday Spring begins at Westernstadt Haselbach on Fabrikstrasse in Haselbach, south of Leipzig. Riders depart on Sunday morning between 06:00 and 10:00 for this gravel ride organized by RSV AC Leipzig e.V. under the Saxony cycling association. Route options include 50, 75, 100, 132, 150, and 200 km. This is a brevet-style event, meaning riders navigate by GPS track, not road arrows, and there is no full route service. The format utilizes a route plan and control card, promoting self-reliance over a supported sportive. Practical route and navigation information is provided by AC Leipzig, and the event is listed in the BDR Breitensport calendar.

ライプツィヒ練習メモ

ランニング： 街から出ずに気持ちよく走りたいときは、Leipziger Auwald、Clara-Zetkin-Park、Johannapark、Rosental、Auenseeの周回コースを走るのが地元民の定番かな。KRAFT Runners Leipzigは毎週火曜19:00にGalopprennbahn Scheibenholzに集まるよ。荷物預かりもあるし、ペースグループも色々、ウォームアップして#geilballernしてからクールダウン、みたいな流れ。Laufsport im SC DHfK Leipzig e.V.っていうクラブが、この街のランニングシーンをしっかり支えてくれてる感じ。Leipzig Marathonが一番大きなイベントだけど、他にもschnelleStelle Firmenlauf Leipzig、Stundenlaufserie、15. Leipziger Volksbank Frauenlauf、Sommerabendlauf am Auensee、Bärlauchblütenlauf、Fockeberglauf、Leipzig Runなんかもカレンダーにしっかり入れてるランナーが多いね。

サイクリング： この街には400km以上のサイクリングロードがあるから、街の中心からでもZ2のbase milesが簡単に始められるんだ。#Gravel.Leipzigは地元で一番ちゃんとしたKREWって感じかな。日曜は11:00、月曜は18:00、夏だけだけど金曜は5:31スタートのライドがあるよ。RUNDEDREHEN CYCLINGCLUBだと、Bike Department Ost、Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 33、Bornaische Straße、Forsthaus Raschwitz、Neuseenbrückeからロードやgravelのライドがスタートするよ。ロングライドにはGrüner Ring Leipzig、Neuseenland cycle route、Elster-Radweg、COAL | STEAM | LIGHT | LAKESなんかを使うね。坂を登りたくなったらFockebergとか、Großzschocher、Leutzsch、Grünauにある昔のボタ山が登りどころだね。

シーズン： 7月が一番明るくていい時期だね。平均229時間も日照時間があるから、夏のライドやランは夜遅くまで楽しめるんだ。Cospudener See、Markkleeberger See、Störmthaler See、Hainer See、Zwenkauer Seeなんかは、暖かい時期のエンデュランス走やコーヒーライド、たまにちょっときつめのインターバルなんかにも使うよ。夏にはGravelday Spring 2026、Gravelday late summer 2026、それからgravelライドにぴったりの湖周回コースも出てくるよ。ライプツィヒの冬の周回は、真っ暗な中でもしっかり整備された道を使うし、ランナーはAuwaldや公園、Fockebergでのレップ走でしっかり追い込んでるよ。
