The ZMR Forest 10km is a short mountain race held in Zagori, northwestern Greece. The start and finish are both located in Kipoi Zagoriou, at an elevation of 750 metres. This summer race has a limit of 500 participants and is designed for runners seeking a trail experience without the stress of cutoffs, as there are no time limits or intermediate checkpoints.
The course commences at Tsepelovo High School, leading participants over 800 metres of village cobbles followed by a 1.7 km section of asphalt. At approximately 2.5 km, the race transitions to a path, reaching a natural viewpoint overlooking Vikos Gorge near the 3 km mark. The Holy Monastery of Rogovo, where water is available, is passed at 3.2 km. The primary ascent begins after 4 km, continuing through the Tsepelovo forest until around 7.5 km, concluding near the start of Skala Tsepelovo.
