Runners favour the parks around the cathedral and nearby loops through the Thérain valley, while cyclists dominate here — La Ronde du Beauvaisis and the long Picardy randonées like Randonnée La Neuville en Hez Le Crotoy (136km) and La Neuville En Hez Cayeux Sur Mer (134km) draw serious riders heading northwest toward the Somme and Normandy coast. The terrain is rarely steep but rarely flat; expect steady 50–100m gains over each ride's rolling sections.
