Bourges

Bourges is a flat, medieval city on the Cher river where cycling dominates the local racing calendar. The Tour du Lac du Val d'Auron 42km cycles the entire perimeter of the lake just outside the city centre, a popular benchmark route for regional riders. Runners find the terrain forgiving but unremarkable—mostly park loops and riverside paths through the historic old town.
