Le Havre

Le Havre's running is dominated by the flat Norman coast and Seine estuary, with the seafront promenade offering unbroken views across the English Channel. Cyclists have serious terrain inland: the Brevet Federal 150 Km anchors the region's audax scene, while the Rallye des Falaises de la Seine - Grimpeur 76 tackles the Seine valley's chalk cliffs (up to 120m elevation) just south of the city. The surrounding Pays de Caux plateau rolls gently enough for weekend rides but rewards exploration of the smaller Norman valleys toward Honfleur and the Côte Fleurie.
