Grytenuten opp is a September hill race on Ropeidhalvøya in Rogaland. It starts by Joker Vatlandsvåg near Hebnes and climbs from sea level to the 862-meter summit of Grytenuten. Idrettslaget Haugil organizes it for runners and hikers; hikers start separately from the timed race. Listings give race distances of 3.2 km and 7.5 km, while the hiking route to the summit is 4.9 km one way.
The route uses local tracks and a marked trail toward Grytenuten, with red markers on the way up. After the early tractor-road section, the path turns steep and reaches a viewpoint over Grytevatnet before continuing above the treeline, where the ground can be wet. The event is promoted as a family day, and the simple tradition is that everyone gets a medal at the top.
