About this race
Trójbieg dębicki is a three-race running series held in Dębica and the surrounding Dębica County area of southeastern Poland. It begins with the county stage in May, followed by a city stage in Dębica and a commune stage in early summer. Each race covers approximately 10 km and is intended for adult runners. The organizers are the Dębica County, City of Dębica, and Dębica Commune authorities, who present it as a local sports initiative to encourage resident activity and unite the area’s communities.
The county-stage route is primarily off-road, with about 90% consisting of dirt roads, forest tracks, and woodland paths, and only 10% on paved surfaces. The entire course is marked by the organizer with direction arrows, tape on trees, and ground markings. A refreshment point is available on the route; runners should bring their own cup or bottle. The rules are straightforward: the time limit is 3 hours, finishers exceeding this limit are not classified, and participants who withdraw must leave the route and inform the race director. A unique feature is the medal, which is in three parts, with runners receiving one piece after completing each stage of the series.
