Półmaraton Przytok
The Semi-marathon de Przytok is a half marathon held in Przytok, a small town in Poland's Lubusz Voivodeship, near Zielona Góra. Participants refer to the route as the "Przytok Alps" because of its challenging terrain, which features rolling ground, steady climbs, and quick descents through dense forest and post-glacial landscape, rather than a flat road. The race is suited for runners seeking a hilly course over a personal-best attempt. The atmosphere is described as intimate and family-like. Post-race, participants can relax near the 19th-century Neo-Renaissance Palace in Przytok and the Manor Park, where mature oaks and beeches provide a tranquil setting compared to a large city race venue.
Półmaraton Polkowicki
The ATT RUN FUN Polkowice Half Marathon follows the official PZLA half-marathon distance of 21.0975 km. The main race begins at 11:30 AM. The event also offers shorter options: a 10 km run, a 5 km nordic walking event, and separate races for children and youth. The route extends through the villages of Trzebcz, Komorniki, Żuków, and Guzice, avoiding a simple town-centre loop. Local cheering zones are set up along the course, with villages competing for the title of best cheering zone. The event, in its fifth edition, is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Polkowice, Wiesław Wabik.
Półmaraton Pszczewska Dwudziestka
Pszczewska Dwudziestka is a race day held in May in Pszczew, located in Poland's Lubuskie region. It centers on a certified 21.097 km half marathon. The main race features electronic timing, a measured halfway point in Świechocin, and chip timing integrated into the start numbers. The event also offers a 5.6 km Katarzyna Run and short children's races, catering to a wider range of participants beyond just half-marathoners. The half marathon follows a 100% asphalt out-and-back route from Pszczew to Świechocin and returns, with traffic control, medical assistance, and refreshments available at the halfway mark and the finish line. The Katarzyna Run consists of two 2.8 km circuits around Kochle Lake. Younger participants compete in 200 m or 400 m races, categorized by school age. Participant medals are provided. The event's established local nature is evident from its numbering: Pszczewska Dwudziestka is in its 41st edition, and the Katarzyna Run is on its 8th.
Półmaraton Solan im. Romana Terlikowskiego
Park Krasnala in Nowa Sól serves as the start and finish for the Semi-marathon Solan, named after Roman Terlikowski. This 21.097 km road race, organized by MOSiR Nowa Sól, takes place in May, beginning at 10:00 AM. The event evolved from the Bieg Solan, first held in 1984, and adopted the half-marathon distance in 1988. The initial half-marathon course connected Nowa Sól and Kożuchów. However, since 2000, the race has utilized city streets. The course is noted for its speed, encouraging participants to aim for personal bests. Since 2016, the event has commemorated Roman Terlikowski, a local runner and dedicated youth coach known for training in all conditions and participating in every race during his life. A Mini Bieg S for children and youth precedes the main race.
BolesławiecRun – Course européenne pour la santé
BolesławiecRun – European Race for Health is an event that combines a passion for sport, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, and an international, European atmosphere. It offers an ideal opportunity to test your fitness on the streets of Bolesławiec, one of Lower Silesia's most beautiful cities. Participants typically compete on a flat and fast course over distances of 5 km or 10 km, making it suitable for both experienced runners aiming for personal bests and beginners. The event features a great atmosphere, a health-focused picnic, and races for children, attracting entire families. Bolesławiec is easily accessible by car (near the A4 motorway) or train, including from Wrocław, Legnica, or Zgorzelec. After crossing the finish line and receiving a unique medal, it is worth staying longer in Bolesławiec. The city, famous for its unique pottery, offers charming places for an afternoon relaxation or a family outing. Visitors can explore the Living Museum of Ceramics, the world capital of unique, stamp-decorated pottery, where they can admire art and participate in workshops. The Market Square of Bolesławiec, one of Lower Silesia's most beautiful, features colorful, carefully restored houses and a monumental town hall, perfect for a romantic stroll and coffee served in local ceramics. The impressive stone railway viaduct over the Bóbr River, nearly 500 meters long, resembles a Roman aqueduct and is a striking sight in the evening with its spectacular illumination. After the race, local restaurants offer hearty traditional Lower Silesian cuisine, such as żurek, pierogi, and delicious roasts, to help runners recover their strength.
Hunters Grodziski Półmaraton „Słowaka”
In Grodzisk Wielkopolski, the Hunters Grodziski Półmaraton “Słowaka” transforms a small Greater Poland town into a day dedicated to running each year. The primary event is a certified half marathon covering 21.097 km, with 5 km and 10 km races offered as well. An afternoon mini-half marathon for children, limited to 1,000 participants, is also held. The course winds through the town, featuring the Old Market Square and Town Hall, City Park, and Regional Museum as backdrops before concluding at the stadium. Originating from small school runs at Juliusz Słowacki High School, it has become one of Poland's most recognized half marathons. The course is conducive to achieving personal bests, but the local engagement is what participants frequently mention: nearly every home along the route hosts supporters, creating a sense of community participation rather than mere observation.

Zielona Góra
