Cyclists face a harder choice: the flat river corridor for training, or a 50–80km drive into the Ozarks (northwest toward Bentonville) where the NW Arkansas Mountain Bike Championships showcase rocky singletrack and the True Grit gravel event (99.8km) climbs through sustained rolling terrain with 1000+ metres of elevation gain across the region.
