Cyclists have it better: the Vor den Toren Berlins (153km) and Oderbruchradmarathon (220km) exploit the region's extensive gravel and forest roads through the Uckermark and Oderbruch, with gentle rolling terrain between 40–100m elevation. The RTF Zum Schloss Meseberg (117km) rides into the lakes district northeast of the city, where tree-lined routes and shallow elevation gain make fast, steady cycling the regional specialty.
