East Grinstead CC Club 10 - Round 2 is a 10-mile cycling time trial in Surrey, organized as an evening club event by East Grinstead CC. Nuts Summer Colour Challenge

The Nuts Summer Colour Challenge is a mud obstacle race held at Henfold Lane in Dorking, Surrey. It is part of the Nuts Challenge, the UK’s original mud obstacle race. This summer OCR event offers 10K and 5K distances, designed for participants seeking mud, water, climbing, crawling, and a physical challenge beyond a standard road race. The course features a permanent obstacle site with over 100 natural and man-made obstacles, ensuring runners will get dirty and engage their entire bodies. While first-timers are welcome, experienced athletes also compete, as the format provides significant challenges. Sonia Hawkes is the listed organiser, and charity fundraising is facilitated through GoFundMe. Published results from past Summer Nuts Challenges confirm its ongoing race history.

Crawley Training Notes

Running: Crawley gives runners a tidy mix of park laps, railway-path miles, and proper race-day legs. Locals use Tilgate Park, Ifield, West Green, Three Bridges, and the Worth Way when they want steady Z2 without fuss. RUNCRC keeps the community side strong, with sessions for beginners, social runners, and performance-based runners. The Worth Way runs 7 miles, or 11 km, from Three Bridges to East Grinstead on a surfaced shared-use line with some road sections. The full loop covers 80 km and gains 357 m. Run Gatwick Half Marathon & 5k, Race For Life Crawley, Horsham 10k, and the Crawley 12 hour race give the calendar its anchor events.

Cycling: Crawley works best on the bike when locals treat it as a launchpad. The club covers time trials, road racing, cyclocross, track, mountain biking, and weekend base miles. Horsham Cycling Club and East Grinstead CC add more nearby race energy. The Worth Way gives 7 miles, or 11 km, of shared-use riding between Three Bridges and East Grinstead. South to Poynings points riders towards the bigger climbing day. Season: May, June, July, and August are the best months when Crawley feels quick underfoot and fast on the road. 8C on 10 August 2003.
