Carrera Popular Ribera del Órbigo

Power Race León - Larga 85k

Power Race León - Larga 85k is an 85 km mountain bike race in León, based in the Eras de Renueva area. The start and finish are at Centro deportivo Supera. It is part of a cup, championship, or circuit, with an additional circuit link noted. The long route is not officially homologated. The event is chip-timed and is in its 11th edition. Riders receive practical support in the finish area: showers, massage service, food or sandwiches, trophies for winners, and a prize raffle for participants.

ランニング： 地元の人たちは、レオンをコンパクトな山に近い拠点として走ってるよ。街中の簡単な周回コースもあれば、足が求める時はもっと坂のある日にする感じ。Trascandamiaは、1月のランナーにとってはLa Candamiaの丘を抜ける定番の登り下りコースだね。León Half Marathonは、3月中旬に21 kmのイベントとしてカレンダーにしっかり入ってる。市街地は一定のペースで走るのにいいし、Barrio de La Lastraやparque nacional del Bosque de Girは平日のZ2にはシンプルで走りやすいよ。Club Leónは知っておくべきクラブ名だね。レオンのSan Silvestreが12月31日にその年を締めくくるんだ。

サイクリング： レオンでサイクリングするなら、ペダルをはめる前にまずどっちの方向に行くか決めるのが一番だよ。南と東は比較的平坦だから、地元の人たちはベースマイルとか、きれいなテンポ走に使ってる。北と西に行くと登りが来るよ。Pajares、Ventana、Vegarada、Vegacervera Gorges、それにPicos de Europaへの登りとかね。Zona Alfa León MTBは、テクニカルなトレイル、下り、バンク、ジャンプ、岩場があるんだ。Ribera del Órbigo Routeは川沿いを走るから、もっと楽にサイクリングできるよ。Club Leónは地元のクラブの一つだね。Power Race León - Larga 85k、La Virginiana MTB、Lúpulo Bikeが自転車イベントのカレンダーのメインだよ。

シーズン： ここでは夏が一番おすすめの季節だよ。レオンは標高800 m以上あるから、スペインの内陸の他の都市より涼しいんだ。地元の人もやっぱり早朝か夕方に走って、日中は日陰で休んだり、ランチしたり、軽くサイクリングしたりしてる。サイクリストは夏に長いZ2の練習とか、Camino Francesを走ったり、Cantabrian Mountain Passesの方へもっと長い距離を走ったりするね。冬になると雰囲気がガラッと変わる。レオンの冬はスペインの基準からすると寒いし、年間平均で約16日雪が降るんだ。ランナーは市内のルートをうまく活用して、ライダーは峠の状況を見ながら、南や東の平坦な道に頼ることが多くなるね。
