Anderlecht

Anderlecht is a western district of Brussels where the terrain is dead flat and urban—running means canal towpaths and the Maelbeek river valley. Cyclists treat it as a launch point for the Flemish climbs: De Gordel's 100km loop and Dwars door het Hageland (124.6km) both head east into the rolling Hageland region within 30km, gaining the punchy 100–150m hills that define Belgian racing. The flat streets suit track cyclists and time trialists in winter months.
