Hardys Stadtlauf Landsberg
木 10月 1
Hardys Stadtlauf Landsberg is an autumn road race starting at Hauptplatz in Landsberg am Lech, a Bavarian town on the Lech river. The event offers adults a half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km races, while younger participants can choose an 800 m children's run and a 2 km youth run. Its motto is to encourage health-oriented exercise, aligning with its purpose as a city run for families, club runners, casual runners, and spectators, not solely for elite athletes. The course is a loop through Landsberg's old town, taking runners through city streets and past historic monuments before they return to the central square. This is the event's nineteenth edition and it maintains a strong local following, recognized as a relaxed city run that also attracts attention from outside the region. Hardy's Landsberg Freizeit Sport und Event GmbH organizes it, with the event's atmosphere focused on healthy movement, enjoyment, and a day of running along the Lech.
Schyren Lauf
土 10月 3
The Schyren Lauf begins and ends at the Prielhof, located at Scheyern Abbey in Bavaria. The event utilizes the historic monastery grounds as the hub for a run through the Hallertau region's natural landscape. Taking place in October, it features a 10 km main race, a 5 km fitness run, a 5 km Nordic walking event, races for youth, and a short 300 m children’s race. ST Scheyern e.V. Laufbewerbe organizes the competition, which typically attracts around 900 participants across its various events. The 10 km and 5 km courses traverse the rolling hills of the hop-growing region, passing through Scheyrer Forst and alongside several monastery ponds. The children’s and youth races are held on flatter terrain around the Prielhof, accommodating both families and adult runners. Participants range from the youngest Bambini runners to those competing in the 10 km race. Awards include age-group trophies, finisher medals for all ages, personalized bibs, timing services provided by Zeitgemaess GmbH, and refreshments at the finish line. A recent edition introduced district championship titles, adding a competitive element for younger participants while maintaining the local club atmosphere.
Hardy's Stadtlauf Landsberg am Lech
土 10月 3
Hardy's Stadtlauf Landsberg am Lech is a road running event in Landsberg am Lech, Bavaria, focusing on Hauptplatz and the old town by the Lech river. It takes place in early October, featuring a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, Nordic walking, and shorter races for children and youth. The children's race is 800 meters, the youth race is 2 km, and the main races begin at midday. Hardy's Landsberg Freizeit & Event GmbH organizes the event, which caters to families and dedicated runners alike. The course consists of a 5 km loop set against the old town. The 10 km race involves two laps, and the half marathon requires four laps, with the initial lap measuring 6.1 km. Team competitions are available for groups of at least five participants running the same distance under a unified team name, allowing friends, clubs, companies, and families to compete together. Locally promoted as “Running on the Lech,” the event is now in its nineteenth year.
Benediktbeurer Kirta-Lauf

The Benediktbeurer Kirta-Lauf is a running event held in October, starting at the Alpenwarmbad in Benediktbeuern. It features age-group races, beginning with the youngest participants. The Zwergerl run a 500 m course, followed by U8 children over 500 m and U10 children over 800 m. Older students compete on a 1.2 km course: U12 and U14 complete one lap, and U16 complete two laps. U20 runners and adult women run a 5 km loop, while adult men run the same loop twice for 10 km. The race takes place around the Alpenwarmbad, organized by TSV Benediktbeuern-Bichl.
Germeringer Stadtlauf
日 10月 25
The Germeringer Stadtlauf is a city run held in October in Germering, Bavaria. It offers 5 km and 10 km races for adults, alongside shorter races for children. Young runners can compete in distances of 900 m, 1,200 m, and 2,200 m, making the event suitable for families and local runners aiming for standard road-race distances. SV Germering e.V., via its athletics department, organizes the race with assistance from the Leichtathletik Förderverein SV Germering e.V. The event is also known as the Germeringer CEWE Stadtlauf, acknowledging CEWE's sponsorship. Post-race, results, certificates, and photo galleries are published. The sponsor list is predominantly local, featuring the City of Germering, Stadtwerke Germering, Sparkasse Fürstenfeldbruck, Brauhaus Germering, DocuWare, AOK Bayern, and various Germering businesses.
Munich Airport Freisinger Straßenlauf
日 10月 25
The Munich Airport Freisinger Straßenlauf circles Stoibermühlsee, north of Munich Airport, on a closed, asphalted course. This autumn road race in Freising, held in late October, has Munich Airport as its title sponsor. The first edition attracted nearly 300 participants, offering a local feel with competitive depth. Despite a start with heavy rain and wind, the sun appeared before the race, allowing runners to achieve personal bests on the sealed, controlled route. The course turning points are managed by the Freising and Marzling volunteer fire brigades. Wasserwacht Freising provides race-day support including power, parking, and medical services. LC Freising handles the venue and timing. The finish area features moderation, music, an arch, prizes, and vouchers from local businesses. Post-race, participants receive alcohol-free Erdinger, refreshments from REWE Lerchenfeld, and coffee from Junkers Café. The event also supports a community cause, with the first edition including 27 registrations for the Bavarian Bone Marrow Donor Action.
Hochplatten-Berglauf
日 10月 25
The Hochplatten-Berglauf is a short mountain race in the Chiemgau Alps, ascending from Marquartstein-Piesenhausen towards the Hochplatten mountain station. The primary race commences at 10:30 a.m., covering 550 meters of elevation gain over 4.6 kilometers. This makes it more akin to a sustained uphill climb than a typical road race. The event, organized by TSV Marquartstein (also known as Turn- und Sportverein 1910 Marquartstein e.V.), has been held annually since 1984. The course is straightforward in concept but challenging in execution: begin in Marquartstein-Piesenhausen, ascend consistently, and conclude at Staffenalm, near the Hochplatten station. A Junior Cup race precedes the main event, alongside children's and youth competitions, ensuring participation for various age groups. Race accounts characterize it as well-managed, brief, and strenuous. One participant's time of 29:40 for the ascent, securing 23rd place out of 121 men and 3rd in the M45 category, illustrates the course's intensity.
50. Teufelsberglauf 2026
日 11月 8
Teufelsberglauf is an annual cross-country run in Munich, offering 5 km and 10 km distances. It is a club-organized race, distinct from large city marathons, and its name references Teufelsberg, anchoring it locally within Munich's running events. The race is put on by ESV Sportfreunde München-Neuaubing e.V., a multi-sport club with various sections including athletics, football, judo, climbing, tennis, volleyball, and winter sports. Recent years indicate a long-standing event, with the race edition already in the high forties, suggesting more history than its straightforward two-distance format might imply.
Aschauer Vorsilvesterlauf
月 12月 28
The Aschauer Vorsilvesterlauf, a running race in Aschau, Bavaria, takes place in late December, just before New Year's Eve. The available information suggests a competitive event rather than a casual fun run. Five men on the start list have 5000m reference times under 14 minutes, indicating expectations of close finishes and new personal bests. The route details are not provided, but the field is notably strong for a local year-end race. Florian Bremm enters with a 13:09 5000m reference time, a runner-up finish in the national 5000m, a national cross middle-distance title, and World Championships experience. Niklas Buchholz, the previous winner, returns after reaching a World Championships steeplechase final. Jens Mergenthaler, Nick Jäger, Hannes Burger, Austrian distance and trail runner Hans-Peter Innerhofer, Bavarian junior Johannes Weizinger, Bad Aibling's Maxi Berger, and Munich junior Tobias Tent contribute a blend of national-level runners, cross-country medalists, past Aschau participants, and regional talent.
41. MRRC Silvesterlauf München 2026
木 12月 31
The MRRC Silvesterlauf München guides runners through Munich’s Olympiapark on New Year’s Eve. The Kleine Olympiahalle serves as the central point for bib collection, awards, the start, and the finish. This event, organized by the Munich RoadRunners Club, is a community race day featuring multiple distances. The program includes a 500-meter children’s race, a two-kilometer school race, a five-kilometer run, and a ten-kilometer road and fun run. The ten-kilometer race is officially measured, allowing serious runners to use it for rankings. The event can accommodate up to 4,000 participants, with previous editions selling out around 3,000 entries. The course is contained within the winter Olympiapark, with the start and finish located near the Kleine Olympiahalle. Munich clubs and running communities compete in the Munich Community Clash Championship, where the fastest three ten-kilometer runners from each team are ranked by their combined net time. The event includes local traditions: Feldmoching cannon shooters start the races, Peter Maisenbacher and Maresa Bredl host the day, and all finishers get the Silvesterlauf mug, which can be filled with tea or water post-race. A commemorative medal and anniversary shirt are also available to order around the event's fortieth edition.
