Bieg Rogowski begins and concludes on the beach in Rogowo, located in Poland's Kujawsko-Pomorskie region. This setting provides the small local race with a distinct character before participants even reach the road. The primary event is a 5 km street run, accompanied by a separate 5 km Nordic Walking competition and children's races. The 5 km run contributes to the Grand Prix Pałuk standings, and the participant limit is 250, fostering a sense of a close-knit community event rather than a large urban race. Electronic timing is employed for both the run and walk, utilizing chips attached to shoelaces or worn at ankle height, which are collected post-race.
The course departs the beach and proceeds through streets and roads within the Rogowo commune, incorporating county roads where right-hand traffic regulations apply. Hydration stations are scheduled both along the route and back at the beach. Children can participate without charge if registered in advance, while 5 km entrants receive a medal, shirt, and water as part of their race package. In a recent edition, 151 open-category runners completed the race; Zbigniew Kledzik won the 5 km with a course record of 14:50, Weronika Kunicka was the leading woman, and Marek Potrzebowski topped the Nordic Walking event.
