jbl run katowice
JBL Run Katowice is a spring city race in Katowice, Poland, offering 5 km and 10 km routes on closed city streets. The start and finish are located near Spodek, the distinctive saucer-shaped arena easily recognizable as a Katowice landmark. This road race caters to both amateur and competitive runners, establishing itself as one of the larger spring running events in the region. The series is in its early stages, with registration now open for its second edition, yet it already demonstrates a distinct charitable purpose. JBL and the City of Katowice co-organize the race, directing the entire entry fee to the “Gniazdo” Foundation for People Needing Help. This foundation was selected following discussions with local runners. The participants include competitive athletes, casual runners, and individuals motivated primarily by supporting aid for those in the region.
