Liberecký půlmaraton
Liberecký půlmaraton is a 21 km road half marathon in Liberec. It starts and finishes by the beach at Liberecká přehrada, the city reservoir. The race is run mostly on asphalt and typically begins in the early evening, giving it a different rhythm from a standard morning road race. The course loops around Liberecká přehrada, making the reservoir the event's focus rather than just a backdrop. This is a long-running local race, with over fifty editions completed. The programme also features a 3 km Lidový běh, or People’s Run, for those seeking a shorter distance. The top three finishers in each category receive material prizes, and the entry fee is modest, maintaining the event's community feel over a large commercial half marathon.
