Front Royal Kiwanis 5K
The Front Royal Kiwanis 5K is a 9:00 a.m. road race starting at the Warren County Health & Human Services Complex in Front Royal, Virginia, located at the former 15th Street School. Race day check-in and registration begin at 8:00 a.m. in the east parking lot. The event benefits Warren County Special Olympics. The 3.1-mile course follows paved roads through northwestern Front Royal, incorporating the grounds of Randolph-Macon Academy. The initial mile is downhill or flat, the second mile trends uphill, and the final 1.1 miles feature rolling terrain to the finish. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, and the top three runners in age categories from 14-and-under to 60-and-over.
