Race for Life Wolverhampton
Race for Life Wolverhampton is a 5K charity run in West Park, Wolverhampton, with an 11:00 am start. It is part of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life programme, so the point is not just the distance: entrants are raising money for cancer-beating research as they run or walk the course. The route uses a double-lap layout, starting and finishing on grass and spending most of its distance on tarmac paths. It is fairly flat, though there are some inclines, and the course has enough twists and turns to feel more like a park run than a straight road race.
