Ferrara

Ferrara is a flat medieval city on the Po River delta where running and cycling thrive on pancake terrain and long sight lines. The 50° Trofeo Liberazione 10K is the signature local road race; cyclists dominate here—the FAR Gravel 200km starts and finishes in the city, while L'Euganega 120km and Monselice In Rosa MTB 60km both use Ferrara as a hub for loops into the nearby Euganean Hills, 30km south, where elevation finally appears. The city itself is a network of flat brick streets and cycle paths, ideal for steady base miles and long-distance gravel work.
