Dudley sits on rolling terrain between Birmingham and the Black Country, with running mostly confined to flat canal towpaths and Himley Park's 3km loop. Cyclists dominate here — the Stourbridge CC Club 10 is a staple 16km time trial, and serious riders push west into the Clent and Malvern Hills (up to 400m elevation) for road climbing or tackle bridleways across the Wyre Forest. The Questars Summer Adventure Race on the Malvern Hills draws the multisport crowd for hill work.
