Trenčín's running scene centers on the Váh river valley, where the flat TRENČIANSKY POLMARATÓN (21km) and Night Run Trenčín follow the riverbank through the town. Cyclists dominate here—the SP CC 2026 races (kritérium and individual time trials) are major regional events, and the longer Letecká stovka (106km) pushes riders into the rolling terrain of central Slovakia, with elevation gains of 600–800m across the route.
